Artist's Philosophy
I am a traditional person in a modern world. In my art, I
strive to capture the unique spirit of each individual I paint.
The portrait tradition appeals to my longing to connect with
the timeless concepts of artistic classicism and craft, while
infusing each portrait with the timely relevance of modern
life. Each portrait I create serves as a historic chronicle of
a person in time, a connection to the complexity of human
emotion, and a piece of artwork to live with and love.
